27th Chat and Eat Night at Polurrian on the Lizard

What an incredible evening. Thank you so much to Ricky, Chef Charlotte and front of house staff Sally and Steph for having us and highlighting some great Cornish produce. I was in love with the crumbed whitebait with that chilli jam, it went so well together I was in my own personal heaven. I also loved the deconstructed Cesar salad with the smoky crispy pops of bacon and anchovies that weren't overpowering with the parmesan strips. I liked how the food came out in stages. Great evening.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to Carl Burdett of Burdett Wines for being our guest speaker and hearing about his journey and how his company was bought by LWC wine merchants and shippers and now he is back doing what he loves which is finding wine and making bespoke wine menus for hotels and restaurants that pair well with the food served.

Thank you again to those who joined me this evening and for getting involved with the ice breakers and well done to Sarah Hemsley for winning the quiz, I hope you enjoy the recipe books.
