FESTIVE SUNDAY LUNCH AT THE MEUDON HOTEL

Thank you to Suzannah, Steve and all the staff at Hotel Meudon for making our return back after 18 months such a splendid get together. It was lovely to be in a room again with loud chatter, laughter and great food shared once again. From the welcome peach belini's on arrival to the last course everything was run efficiently. The tables were decorated beautifully and a lot of extra special touches with place names and Christmas crackers were laid. To walk off the Christmas puds we took a stroll through the subtropical valley gardens to Bream Cove were we were welcomed this time by a seal and an air display by diving gannets.

It was a marvelous afternoon and one we will talk about for a while. I'm really looking forward to collaborating with these guys again in the future.

Another huge thank you also goes to my members for the continued support you have given me over the years to be able to host such events. We had a room filled with 29 diners, each dressed for the occasion. It was so wonderful to see old friends and welcome a few new faces that have come from recommendations from members that no longer live in the county. Your support means everything to me and I'm very grateful for your friendships.

The little crunchy bite that I placed on each side plate were Coconut Drops made with fresh coconut, sugar and spices from Nikki's Caribbean Sweets & Treats

I hope you enjoyed them...

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing what 2022 brings us all and hopefully it won't be too long before we are back together again.

Stay safe, eat well and be merry,
