Summer solstice at retallack woodlands
An unforgettable Summer Solstice at the beautifully enchanting Retallack Woodlands near Constantine. Organised by the truly wonderful Alice Rollinson of Wild Goose gourmets
We were immersed in nature the moment we arrived.
Sublime swimming in the natural quarry, wood-fired hot tub and sauna.
Cooled by refreshing homemade Elderflower Fizz and dips and fruit.
Massages were by Ellen Halcyon Therapies
and an incredible sound bath experience underneath the trees by Ali Resonant Being with bird song and the sun shining through, it felt heavenly, finished with a Cacao ceremony.
Afterwards Ingrid and I walked the Mossy Crow trail before we all came together for an Earth Art meditative process with Mila Still Wyld as we created a biodegradable art altar together. We collected the materials from our surroundings which was extremely therapeutic and amazing to see a group of strangers that don't know one another can create, it was great team work.
To end our lovely day we ended with an evening Banquet by Alice of Wild Goose gourmets

- Cornish Peaches rose petal and burrata salad
- Blackcurrant and Elderflower Panna Cotta
It was just the kind of day that I needed, a bit of self care away from it all in such magical surroundings.
