40th Chat and Eat Night at Orange Café Bar
We had an amazing Veganuary Plant-Based Chat and Eat Night on Thursday at the homely Orange Cafe Bar in Mousehole
The plant-based 4-course menu was a delight, and the mushroom and sage soup stole the show.

A special thanks to Chef/ Owner Dee and her daughter Emerald Vood Bar, and their front of house star Amelia for their incredible efforts and for their warm hospitality. Dee generously shared her recipes with us, and I appreciate that because I'm eager to recreate her delicious soup.
Gratitude to the 23 diners who braved the cold and snow to participate in the evening events. I'm amazed at the considerable distances some of our guests traveled to be with us.
Thanks also to Judy and Alan of Cornwalls Chocolate Cove who popped in and shared some free-from chocolate treats with us.
The experience has sparked a rethink in our families eating habits. I don't want my daughter asking why we didn't help address the environmental challenges her generation are going to face. Time for positive change!
