31st Chat and Eat Night at Philleigh Way Cookery School
Firstly a huge thank you to Chef Rupert Cooper at Philleigh Way Cookery School for allowing me to host my 31st Chat and Eat night at the place where my foodie adventures began for me back in 2013 before my foodie group was formed. I love being welcomed by the numerous song birds. Thank you also to Marc of Duchy Charcuterie and Kerry and Debbie for being such wonderful kitchen and front of house team.
Guests were welcomed with a Processo on Arrival.
We tucked into a wonderful dinner which included:
Menu
To Start
Hummus with lime, Baba Ganoush (which was my favourite) and a Artichoke and Bean dip with homemade focaccia with a Duchy Charcuterie selection with Woodfired asparagus, chilli's and pickles.
Followed by
Arancini with Nduja & Gouda
with smoked tomato sauce
Mains
Woodfired Pork Gyros
with Tzatziki and the most divine Cinnamon Flatbreads
or
Vegetable Kebabs (VG)
and Cinnamon Flatbreads
To End
Roasted Rum Banana, Crumble and Ice Cream
or
Roasted Banana, Spiced Nut Crumble and Coconut yoghurt (VG)
I'd like to also thank Mark Lewin from the Hospitality Table Cornwall for being our guest speaker. It's always good to hear about how companies are trying to entice students back into the hospitality industry.
And lastly a huge thank you goes to my Potluck members, without your continued support I wouldn't be able to organise these events, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.
