Festive Gathering at Port Navas Yacht Club Bar and Restaurant
To end the year off we ventured to the quaint hamlet of Port Navas to dine at Port Navas Yacht Club Bar & Restaurant last night. The cosy ambiance created the perfect setting for an exquisite Christmas meal.
We shared a delightful starter platter featuring Whipped goats cheese with tapenade and grissini,
Fried calamari with chipotle and lime aioli and Baked lamb kofte with tzatziki.
Followed by Kittow’s Duck breast with a sweet potato-miso mash, sesame broccoli, teriyaki sauce, spring onions
OR Stevenson Newlyn Hake with braised chickpeas, cavolo nero and preserved lemon, harissa, yoghurt and coriander
OR Winter vegetable pakora, yellow split pea dahl, mint chutney and tamarind
and ended with a sweet-note with a Warm chocolate pot with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, toasted hazelnuts
OR Winter fruit crumble with custard

Thank you to the 24 strangers who joined us on a crisp December evening, sharing not just a meal but warm camaraderie. Cheers to good company and many more memorable moments in 2024!
