Indidog falmouth
Last night was amazing! I was invited to a Food Media Networking event at INDIdog in Falmouth, right by the ocean.
We started with some fancy Verve Clicquot, then had a Gin and Ginger beer mixer, and a lemon sherbet mocktail.
The small plates were incredible! We had:
Hummus with Dukkah, Lemon, and Pomegranate
- Pitted Olives with Chili and Mint
Stones Bakery Falmouth Artisan Bread with Marmite and Chicken Crackling (this was to die for)
Asparagus with Brown Butter and Hollandaise
Roast Hispi with Black Garlic and Onion Crisps
- Sauteed Cornish New Potatoes with Rosemary Butter (so moorish!)
Rainbow Carrots with Olive Oil, Greek Yogurt, and Pumpkin Seeds
Smoked Cod Roe with Dill
- Cornish Crab Cake with Citrus Mayo, Chili, and Sesame Dressing
- BBQ Croquettes with Celeriac Remoulade and Granny Smith
Cornish Langoustines with Garlic Butter and Charred Lemon
- Smoked Mackerel Pate with Lemon Syrup and Sourdough Crostini
Mylor Fish Shop Scallops with Confit Lemon Puree and Seaweed Pangrattato
For dessert, we had White Chocolate Cheesecake with Raspberry Compote, Whipped Barley Custard, Hazelnut Crunch with Honey and Bee Pollen
The whole evening was fabulous, and it was so nice to meet new people and see some familiar faces.
