Private Supper Club at Trenoweth House
Heartfelt thanks to Amanda and Dan Back at Trenoweth Estate for graciously welcoming us into their captivating Gothic-style home and former vicarage, creating the perfect setting for our members to enjoy a seasonal, four-course autumn supper club.
Candlelight and foraged flowers from the garden wove a magical ambiance, while homemade Shrub and the vibrant flavours of each course made it an unforgettable experience. Your warm hospitality, along with Kath and Chris, brought such a special touch to the evening.
And to my wonderful guests—thank you for gathering with us. Your company and support bring these evenings to life, filled with laughter, lively conversation, and delicious food.
Here’s a taste of Amanda's autumn-inspired menu:
Welcome Canapés:
Freshly baked Parmesan and Poppy seed biscuits and a Sage, Pumpkin, Ricotta cake, served with Shrub and Prosecco
Starter:
A medley of wild autumn mushrooms on sourdough toast with garlic, herbs, Trethowan Brothers Cheddar (Gorwydd Caerphily), and bitter greens
Main Course
Choice of Pan Roasted Pheasant with Fennel, Cider Sauce, Boulangère Potatoes, and buttered Cavolo Nero and Chard
or
Pan Roasted Cornish Hake
Dessert
A Cornish Congress Tart (similar to Bakewell) with homemade blackberry jam, served with Cornish Clotted Cream or Custard
Trethowan Pitchfork cheese to finish
I'm looking forward to our collaboration together again in the new year.
